Description
Following on his joint release on RNT white label last year, Colombian wunderkind Felipe Gordon moves over to the Reserve imprint with a 4-tracker of beautifully crafted jazzy sampled house.
The record kicks off with ‘Those Quite Eyes of Yours’, intertwining hollow-body guitar riffs around analog synth textures, moves into the late-nite piano stabs of ‘There’s a Part of Me That’s Always True’, then to the cheeky Tropicalia house groove of ‘Now You Caught My Heart For The Evening’, and concluding with the dreamy ‘That Night At El Bukowski’. It’s a melancholy and deep trip, perfect for listening or bumping in the club.
