Richeart is a young cat from Italy that’s been doing his thing like he is from the D. He played these 3 joints to Jerome Derradji and after some finagling and editing, here’s his first 12” for Still Music. It’s dirty, raw and uncompromising. Just like it should be on any dancefloor.
Yesterday Said Tomorrow takes a loop from Alicia Myers and stretches it out Detroit style. Sounding like and early Theo Parrish cut, this sounds dope in the mix. Heaviside Function sees Jerome Derradji put down a percussive rhythm under a wonky bassline. Double Paradiddle keeps it murky with hypnotic groove.
