Description
Freerange Records celebrate 20 years at the top. The label, run by Jamie ‘Jimpster’ Odell and Tom Roberts, marked the occasion with a series of carefully curated and lovingly assembled tracks, featuring exclusive new music from associates old and new.
Andre Lodemann is a highly regarded producer from Berlin whose debut release dropped in 2004 on Mike Grant’s legendary Moods & Grooves label. Co-founder of Best Works Records, Lodemann has released remixes and his own material on the likes of Innervisions, Room With A View, Buzzin Fly, Poker Flat, Rebirth, DFTD, Compost Black Label, and most recently Siamese. His music is always ethereal and emotive, appealing to fans of Sasha et al. Here Last Exit stands out as another super fresh piece of electronic brilliance.
Squares is a brand new side-project from Fish Go Deep, focusing on completely hardware-based productions and slightly more experimental, left field deep house. Immerse yourself.
Tony Lionni continues to impress following his Osgut Ton smash Found A Place (which continues to drive dance floors into a frenzy worldwide) with releases on Versatile, Mule, Wave and Madhouse. Woman is a proggy bassline led chugger with percussion that bumps and builds in all the right places.
London based DJ and Producer Sam Matters opts for some percussive tech funkiness as Your Mind tweaks and turns into the kind of sonic assault that will sound great loud.
